written when Sammy B. was living in NYC. Old MMR was stuck with no one to play bass. So he wrote a song about the dilemma . Tried playing bass and remembered Sammy's bass advice..."put a phaser on it" which he did and included it lyrically. Words were aded over a preexisting recording where Boogie Finger was trying to construct a song that had a velvet underground "feel" .....
